Call of Duty: Warzone is finally implementing a helpful new feature

One of the many great features in Activision's Call of Duty: Warzone is its crossplay functionality that allows both PC and console players to lock horns in the popular battle royale title. Unfortunately, an inevitable part of PC shooter culture is cheating, and said cheats are causing console players to switch off the game's crossplay service.

Various videos have been popping up on the CoD Reddit, showing frustrated Warzone players finding their heads popped in the blink of an eye, with the KillCam then unmasking their assassin as having used an aimbot or some other piece of prohibitive software to perform a digital murderthon with just a mouse click.

Call of Duty: Warzone is consistently being tweaked and updated by Infinity Ward in terms of adding new game modes and balance adjustments. However, Warzone players are constantly finding new glitches that others are exploiting in order to give themselves an unfair advantage. What’s more is that most of these glitches and exploits within the game that have yet to be addressed by Infinity Ward. One recent glitch is allowing players with akimbo pistols to have infinite ammo. In addition, our site z2u.com has a large quantity of safe Call of Duty CP Coins For Sale.

Thankfully, Warzone does have a feature that allows players to report other players who are using these glitches and exploits to cheat matches. However, many players don’t go out of their way to report cheaters, as many feel there is no guarantee that the request is ever really seen or considered. Recently, players have begun turning off Warzone features to avoid cheaters. Now, it seems Infinity Ward is addressing the communities worries and adding features to actively aid those who report cheating players.

The update comes from Infinity Ward’s official Twitter account, where an image was posted detailing the updated reporting features that will come to both Modern Warfare and Warzone. The standout update reads, “Starting this week: Players in Warzone and Modern Warfare who report suspected cheaters will receive confirmation in-game when a player is banned.” This feature reassures players that their reports are being heard and actively evaluated. It’s worth noting that Infinity Ward has banned over 70,000 cheaters in Warzone worldwide.
